LIVE JAZZ | James Larter, Ollie Clark & Robert Storey
Dynamic percussionist James Larter has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in the UK's most prestigious venues and halls. James also plays as an orchestral musician having performed side by side with the London Sinfonietta, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, he is an extra with the Philharmonia Orchestra and recently played at the London Coliseum with the St Petersburg Ballet Theatre as Principal Timpanist. He recently graduated with a First Class Honours from the Royal Academy of Music in London studying with Andy Barclay, Bill Lockhart, Eric Sammut and Colin Currie and is now studying at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City with Chris Lamb, Kyle Zerna, She-e Wu and Duncan Patton. He is also a current fellow at the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara.
Ollie Clark is a young musician from London. After growing up on blues and jazz he met a well known classical guitarist/composer named William Lovelady. Ollie is also a producer and has written and produced for adverts, short films, circus shows and more. Ollie plays all instruments on his recordings. Ollie does a lot of sessions currently as the session guitarist for Will Heard, a talented soul/funk singer.
Robert Storey is a jazz multi-instrumentalist, also from the UK but currently based in Barcelona. Robert studied under Tim Herniman of the funk group 'Soul Brittania' and is a routined live performer, having played with the likes of Will Heard, Stuart Zender (Jamiroquai) and Humphrey Lyttleton.
This presents a unique opportunity to experience them performing solo as well as in a trio for two consecutive evenings in a historically significant venue in the Gothic quarter of Barcelona.
